Save the Children Campaign: Health Care and Nurses

I am always leery of people who e-mail me wanting me to post something on my blog about what they are doing. However, I recently received an e-mail that was different. Jessica Hernandez sent me an e-mail requesting that I take a look and ‘See where the Good Goes‘ and so I did.  What I found moved me greatly and resonated with my own values. Nurses, if you are looking for a place to get involved, make a difference, and influence health with a population or community, this is the place.

Where the Good Goes works on educating health workers in countries where there is no access to health care, to create healthy families and children. Supported by both the Ad Council and a subsidiary of Save the Children, both legitimate organizations, this organization is putting the values of health care as a much needed right and bringing that gift to the world. Their mission resonated deeply with me and I will be continuing to monitor them and look for ways I can get involved.
